In a few days, Emmy sends Hareta a text message saying, “I am holding a birthday party for Edison next week. Are you free? Let’s celebrate together.”

Hareta says yes, for sure. She can spy on Emmy that way. Sunzi says knowing your enemy is the way to win. But unfortunately, this statement works only on the basis that you know yourself equally well. The question is, Hareta, do you even know who you are? Can you read Emmy or Hong Kong even? Emmy and Hareta are like heaven and hell apart and they don’t seem to meet in the space between. Sad as it may sound.

Hareta wants to hack into the encrypted network at Chin’s house. She wants to make public Emmy’s secrets so Emmy will lose all her popularity, friendships, reputation and success.

At this moment, Hareta is just seeking for monetary gains or pleasure from stealing others’ husband. She has no plan yet to murder anyone. She thinks it makes total sense to destroy others for personal gains. We all have that selfish gene, don’t we? To climb to the top of the society, she thinks that sacrificing others’ welfare or hurting others is understandable. Whatever karma says, she does not give a damn. If karma actually works, why does Emmy seem to have such a perfect life when she is so evil? Why does Hareta live through hell as a Saks worker just to find out that she is severely sick and contagious? Why is Emmy so popular wherever she goes but no one pays attention to Hareta? Is Hareta uglier than Emmy? Is Hareta too fat? No, obviously not. Hareta already is bulimic just to look like Emmy. She already has done plastic surgery just to look as young. Why is Hareta still not there yet? What is missing?

But Hareta keeps these emotions to herself. She replies, “Yes, of course. I am so happy to celebrate your son’s birthday.”

There is a voice in Hareta’s head that says, “Fuck your son.

Your son has not gone through any bad expereinces ever since the day he was born so he is bound to be a failure when he grows up. Why did Mani die prematurely? Why did I have to go through 8 miscarriages to finally get pregnant in having a special needs child? You evil richie people. One day, I will be the Big Punisher to make you suffer what I have been through. The world could only be fair that way.”
