A mid-summer night hare (12)

It is finally Sunday. Emmy goes to church with Hareta for the first time.

Emmy seems so nice, almost like turning the other cheek. She does not seem to be aware of the affairs between her husband and Hareta at all.

Emmy says, “My dear Hareta, did my husband give you a hard time when he drove you home the other day? I think he wouldn’t because you are really pretty. Let me tell you a secret: he is not Song Jung Ki. He is Lawrence Ng Kai Wah and he likes to “play” doctor. Sometimes, I dress up as a nurse to match his childish fantasies.”

Hareta is disgusted to hear their interactions inside bedroom. Fantasies? Cosplay? What the hell is wrong with Emmy? Well, don’t forget that Hareta fucked Ackley six times the first night they met. Would you do the same for your husband, Emmy?

Hareta acts rather shy and says, “Thanks for driving me home. I live so far away. I feel bad.”

Emmy says, “We are BFFs. Just treat me like your own sister. You are awesome. I love to be friends with you.”

Hareta likes to think of Emmy as a big-headed small town potato country girl who never encounters any bad people. It’s funny how Emmy still treats Hareta like a good friend after all the cheating and adultery Hareta has with Emmy’s husband. Hareta is determined to break into the upper circle. In Hareta’s eyes, the upper circle is a peaceful world of blue ocean where there are no wars, no conflicts, no crimes, no sufferings, no hunger, no comparisons, no sins and no backstabbing. Only peace and privileges. Emmy takes what she owns for granted. If only Hareta can take Emmy’s place, Hareta can then live happily ever after.

Emmy notices Hareta’s silence and continues, “Did you see that lady over there? She is the wife of Kay Kay Day Tour’s CEO and sits on the board for One Earth One Dream Foundation and Peaceful Mind Peaceful World Organization. She is another lucky housewife. With all the big paycheques her husband is bringing in, she is full time shopper. What a life! Would you know if I haven’t told you so? I bet you not. You know what I find? Rich people look quite the same as commoners. The super rich can’t fly apparently.”

Hareta, what Emmy is trying to tell you is that if you hate humanities so much that you want to stand above and against all, you can be the next 4-lung angel. However, Emmy’s messages have not come across unfortunately, because Hareta has been living in her own universe for her entire life. To a devil, the world is just hell. If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. However, the people from hell are trapped and are suffering so hard that they are desperate enough to want to drag down those from heaven, but in vain. So they fall deeper and deeper into the rock bottom of the 18-layered underworld, for now until forever.

If you insist on equality, you can heedlessly say that a prostitute from the slum and a billionaire are not any different. Why judge them differently? Does Priscilla Chan have two vaginas? If you insist, please go ahead and use this to challenge the entire planet. Try the world.

Are there words written on the rich’s forehead that say “I am rich”? If you don’t believe in science, you should at least believe in karma. Crimes don’t pay. Your upbringing has subconscioulsy built your world view and your mentalities. It also limits the angles you look at your surroundings which lead you to do a series of criminal offences to climb to the so-called imaginary social pyramid. It does not matter whether you wear a Channel bag or a Gap sweater. It is what you have done to get to where you are and why you have done those shameful things.
