my first time with mingyu...

many people thought that i had my first drug experience with gordon.

actually, gordon was not that person.

mingyu was.

freshman year, mingyu invited a bunch of us to his room in john jay.

it was like before a college party downtown.

after we had dinner at john jay dining hall, we went straight to his room upstairs.

there were me, sammy, mingyu and a bunch of other asian guys, like devin (indian) and gilbert (philippino).

and we had hookah in his room.

mingyu got a hookah pot for us from somwhere.

hookah is like marijuana, its not legal.

we had a hookah pot in the middle of us a bunch of friends in a circle.

we had our own mouth piece.

when it was our turn, we got that hookah pipe and used our mouth piece to suck a little of 水煙.

i don't know why mingyu seemed to know what i like without me telling.

that 水煙 was green apple flavored.

it tasted so good. i like sipped so much 水煙 that i almost coughed. but strangely, i didn't feel much different. it was like smoking cigarettes.

and like kelly and lawrence were eating marijuana brownie next to us.

we were so drugged right. and like devin and other friends took a series of pictures of me smoking pot in mingyu's room. like 大頭照. so embarassing. and they like posted them on xanga and facebook so everyone saw my pot smoking look in mingyu's room.

and like kelly asked me to try that marijuana brownie, and i was like, no, dude this would be too hardcore man. i was still a virgin when it came to drugs. kelly baked that marijuana brownie herself. she like distributed to our entire friend group.

kelly sometimes would smoke a cigarette in a night club and she would ask me to have a try. i started smoking after i worked at lehman brothers. that was sophomore summer. i smoked when i dated gordon. i don't smoke anymore. i have to say i didn't like the taste of smoking.

and like there was this guy called dave (korean dave) in our satellite friend group right. he was also a medical school student. i forgot his last name already so i don't know what he is doing now. he was from west coast, like mike cho. he was a bit chubby, but also quite good looking. we always hang out and stuff in a big group. but he had that bad ass look, and he was not into the korean drinking games. he was more western i think. like gordon right, he was also not into this k town soju drinking thing.

from what i know, gordon did not like those old schooled korean drinking games, or korean karaoke nights, or like dancing to HOT and lee hyori songs. all he did was like work out in the gym, anyways i love him nevertheless.

okay, so back to this dave guy right, this korean dave guy. his college admission essay was like taken as a prime example to show incoming students in like a sharing session. i told sammy that korean dave was quite good looking. but he also had that intimidating look and vibes. i also told tammy that DK kim was quite good looking. but he was also like a floating ghost to me cos i never really saw him on campus. DK kim was into acapella, the really prep school type of activities. actually, gordon also had that prep school feel. like doing really pretentious things, like he wouldn't do those korean korean things, unlike my friends.

mike cho was from harvard westlake, so it was like the best prep school on west coast. but mike cho was not into acapella or prep school pretentious activities, whatever wine tasting crap yada yada.

anyways, okay so back to korean dave. he freaking smoked like a chainsmoker. he smoked so much.

but i like him nevertheless. i mean his looks and stuff. but not romantically, cos i couldn't connect with him on spiritual levels.

the guy i feel most connected with is mingyu. he is so perfect.
