A mid-summer night hare (27)

After Hareta is done with her crimes, she acts rather detached and quickly leaves the bathroom. She goes back to the bedroom but Ackley has not noticed her nervousness. They then go back down to the first floor.

Emmy says, “Hubby, have you shown her our wedding portraits yet?”

Hareta says, “Yes, I saw them in the studio. They are stunning.”

Emmy says, “That is the portrait we took in our Carribbean honeymoon. Hubby, why don’t you show her our banquet photos?”

Ackley says, “Maybe she doesn’t want to see them?”

Hareta quickly replies, “No, I would love to see the lovely memories shared by the two of you.”

Actually, Hareta wants to tear apart these portraits right in front of this disgusting PDA couple. Ackley and Emmy had their wedding in a five star hotel outside the Stanley beach. Sunshine together with the juvenating spirit of the bride made such a beautiful moment.

Hareta spends almost half an hour browsing through their wedding pictures. She is jealous every detail of Emmy’s wedding: Emmy’s gowns, Emmy’s 10-carat wedding ring, and Emmy’s beautiful bridesmaids. What a life!

Then, Edison and the helper come home. Edison quickly gobbles up the cake.

Hareta says, “Edison, can you tell me your wishes? Maybe I can help you realize your dream!”

Edison says, “Why should I tell you? Mommy says never tell anybody anything on your mind.”

Emmy says, “He is just a spoiled kid. Don’t take it seriously.”

Hareta says, “No, not at all. If only my son is as cute as Edison.”

Emmy says, “He is actually a mature old man trapped inside the body of a boy.”

Hareta smiles and she really cannot take how this family keeps showing off their happy moments.

Happiness, or bliss, could be the life-long pursuit for some. So when Hareta sees Emmy’s blatant laughters and grins, she starts her plan in getting rid and replacing Emmy. But, is a friendly smile all one needs to change the world?

When you think that you are the cloest to heaven, that could just be the overheared cheers to welcome you in hell.
