Emmy steps out from the clinic.

Emmy says, “I have shingles. My eyes hurt because of that too. I can’t wear contact lenses for now. He said my cramps are temporary but I may need a check up later.”

Hareta feels so good in hearing this. She likes to see Emmy get sick. She likes to Emmy alone all by herself. Hareta thinks that everyone hates Emmy.

Emmy says, “My stomach hurts so much. I even puked three times. I never had such bad cramps before.”

This is what Hareta goes through every month and she is exhilarated to see Emmy suffering the same pain. Actually, Hareta lost her virginity in F.3 and contracted chlamydia as a result of unprotected sex. Ever since then, she has really bad cramps every month. This kind of explains why she is infertile with a total of 8 miscarriages.

Hareta says, “Take some rest. You will recover soon.”

Emmy says, “I am so worried. Will I die?”

Hareta thinks that her plan has run so smoothly that God must have been on her side. Hareta likes to think of herself as a heroine, God of Justice even. No, Hareta is the ultimate Big Punisher. She is eliminating evil people on this planet so the world would become prettier without Emmy’s existence. If Emmy dies, Hareta’s family can live happily ever after. What a happy ending! Emmy’s life does not matter.

Hareta stays silent for a while until she says, “If you die, Ackley would be very sad. So you should keep fighting!”

In Hareta’s eyes, the world is a pyramid. As it gets to the top, the competition is really just among a handful few. If you are brave enough to eliminate your “enemies” or “competitors”, then you would be able to stay on top of the world and enjoy all the subsequent economic benefits. Therefore, Hareta is willing to win at all costs.

Emmy says, “I can’t wear contact lenses now. I am so ugly. Ackley would call me a pork chop. Oh no, he won’t love me anymore.”

Hareta says, “No, you are still as pretty. Your husband loves you for who you are, no matter what. Be confident!”

That’s still not enough for Hareta. She wants to make Emmy completely blind. She wants to see those guys leave Emmy one after another. Emmy is just somewhat attractive with a good body and stylish fashion sense. But very soon, the name on everbody’s lip would be Hareta Shu.
