Even though Hareta, Emmy and Ackley all went to school or grew up in the same district, they have drastically different upbringings and personalities. Matilda Convent School is just a block from Fuking University St. Yuk Keung College, even. But these two have almost opposite philosophies or theologies in life. I wouldn’t call these three people neighbors even though technically they are from the same neighborhood. Ackley and Emmy are more like Romeo and Juliet of Hong Kong, although many people like to think of them as a perfect couple. Is this Harvard love story really as romantic as it looks?
Emmy grew up in a conservative Catholic convent. She believes in the motto, “no sex is safe sex”. It is a pun with two meanings. On one hand, it means not even one sex can be called safe. On the other hand, it also advocates platonic love. Well, what about Ackley? He has been fucking like a Pompeii native, worshipping male penises and living a promiscuous sex life. He is a douchebag. All he thinks about is getting free pussies. Would there ever be an end to his desires? As he fucks Fala Chen, he is already thinking about Kay Tse, then Miriam Yeung, then Chrissie Chau, then Sammy Cheng and even go international all the way to Japan for the porn stars. Then after Japan, he goes Russia, then Thailand, then even the blacks. He is literally living in hell and there is no way back. If a condom alone is powerful enough to prevent all STDs, there wouldn’t be any AIDS patients in this world.
The question is, why would he get married with Emmy Ran? Publicity. He wants Emmy’s money and her name. After all, Emmy is a former Miss Hong Kong, this title as the husband of a pageant queen could get him many more free pussies. He likes to take Emmy around like a trophy in those events as a self-proclaimed one-in-a-billion super duper good husband. He could be the biggest liar in this world, worse than Hong Kong’s worst public toilet shit hole stool.
Some people work to live. Some people live to work. Ackley finds his meaning of life in orgasm. His entire body and mind have been controlled by his reproductive organs. He works hard just to get ahead of others so he can get laid. When a person only does it without love, strangest things happen.
