Emmy seems to have calmed down after the fight. Hareta is still home. Ackley has already gone for hours but Hareta is still on cloud nine, having successfully stolen Emmy’s husband.

Usually people feel bad being the mistress. But Hareta does not feel any guilt at all about destroying others’ family. Actually, she feels really good about it.

So now, Emmy writes a message to Hareta that reads, “My bestie, you know my husband is hopeless. He is such a douchebag. Are you free? Let’s come out for a chat. I want to thank you for taking me to the hospital. Let’s have coffee.”

Hareta says, “Sure, where about?”

Emmy says, “Let’s meet at Sea Sun’s Hotel.”

Hareta says, “Okay, see you in an hour.”

An hour later, they meet. In the corner of the coffee shop, they quietly sit down. Emmy starts being grouchy again. Obviously, Hareta does not notice Emmy’s tear stains on her face.

Emmy says, “My bestie. Let me tell you something. There are a lot of assholes in this world. The worst is that they look far from who they truly are.”

Hareta says, “Are you having any issues with your husband? I think Ackley is trying really hard to please you already. He works hard all day to give you a good life. You should appreciate him.”

Emmy says, “Oh, right. I am not sure about it. Never knew my husband could look that perfect from your perspective.”

Emmy pauses for a while. She wants to say something, “My bestie, please don’t mind me asking you some personal questions. Are you visually impaired? How should I say it? I meant to ask you if you are color blind…”

Hareta says, “No, my eyes are fine. I am just a bit short sighted.”

Emmy says, “Do you have problems identifying the color blue? Do you have some sort of color deficiency?”

Emmy quietly murmurs, “Looks like you guys did it in the dark.”

Hareta says, “What are you saying? I can’t hear you.”

Emmy seems a bit cautious. She says, “No. I am just talking to myself.”

Hareta does not say anything and she does not seem to have paid attention to Emmy’s words.

Emmy speaks again, “My bestie. Do you like any idols? Like celebrities or singers?”

Hareta says, “I have grown out of it. I used to like Leehom when I was younger. But I wouldn’t really call myself a fan. I think it is silly to chase around celebrities.”

As a matter of fact, Hareta does not really follow celebrities because she wants to be celebrity herself. She wants to be famous. She wants to be world-famous. She desires the power, money and status that come with fame. She wants to be admired. She wants to be loved and looked up to. She wants to be followed around. She does not want to be someone else’s fan. She is dreaming her stardom every day.

Emmy says, “Wow, you like Leehom! Let me tell you what Ackley likes. He is into the Ron Ho.”

Hareta says, “Ron Ho? What’s so good about him?”

Emmy says, “Remember this statement from me: Ackley is into the Ron Ho.”

Hareta is giggling. She is laughing at the stupidity of the Chin family. Ron Ho is not even that famous. Maybe they like alternative indie music? What a weird taste.

Hareta wouldn’t openly laugh about their tastes, of course. She politely answers, “You have a unique liking towards idols.”

Emmy says, “Thank you. Don’t forget that statement about the Ron Ho.”

Hareta says, “Okay…..”

Emmy says, “Right. Last time, I bought some facial masks which work really well. I can give you some. But I forgot to bring them today. Why don’t you come with me home? I will give you a ride home later.”

Hareta says, “Okay. Thank you for the masks. Thanks for the ride too.”

Emmy says, “You are so polite. We are besties. Don’t you remember?”
