Emmy wants to say something but she holds back. She says, “Do you think I have a choice? He asked his entire school to send me love letters. I already knew he has some serious issues. I asked him if he has STDs. He said his brother is positive but he is not. Do you believe a word he says? Yes, he is the head boy of a band 1 boys’ school and the valedictorian of Harvard. He said I have no reason to reject him, unless I am a gold digger. He thinks that he is a social leader, outstanding scholar, famous alumnus from a well-renowned institution, Jesuit Christian, Harvard graduate and even the Son of God. Whoever says no to him must be evil. Because EVERYBODY should love him and Jesus. His face is like a living dead twilight vampire but I am a human!

Hareta says, “You distorted his intentions. He is so polite and friendly. Are you sure he is that bad? Maybe you just don’t love him. I think that acceptance would come naturally if there is love between you two. You should accept him for who he is.”

Emmy says, “I have been forced to date and marry him. Love at first sight and happily ever after? Come on, give me a break. You gotta be kidding me. He likes to portray himself as the ultimate justice league to eliminate evil people like me. The big punisher. And he says it is my destiny to be condemned by him.”

Hareta says, “He didn’t hold a gun to force you to date him.”

Emmy says, “Yes, he did. He shoots me with his water gun. Oh, but now only bubbles come out. His kidney has some problems. I feel like I am playing those zombie shooting games, you know, like the Grinder?“

Hareta says, “You are so exaggerating.”

Emmy says, “It’s only the Apocalypse. It’s only Armageddon.”

Hareta says, “Well, nothing gold can stay.”

Emmy says, “Dracula talking about sustainability.”

The atmosphere finally softens a little bit. Their conflicts seem to resolve a little. Hareta finally digests her words and starts to doubt Ackley’s sexual orientations.

Hareta suddenly remembers something and asks, “Has Ackley been gay when he asked you out?”

Emmy says, “No, it is like those tadpoles turning into a frog. It takes time. It is an ongoing process. He already had 400 sex partners when he asked me out. And he pretends to not know how to wear a condom like a virgin in our bedroom. I called him the glass unicorn. He has paid sex almost every week in Mongkok, Guangzhou, and Macau. He couldn’t afford those expensive prostitutes when he was younger. Well, he only gets crazy after he starts working.”

Hareta says, “How crazy?”

Emmy says, “He gets really international. First, it was Macau. Then Japan, and Taiwan. He flies all over Asia as soon as he gets off work on the weekend. He has tried hundreds of those night clubs in red light districts. He even makes recommendations to his friends. And he gets more addicted ever since. Russian blonde chicks, then Japanese school girls and porn stars. He even tried African and Latino prostitutes. Even Thai transgenders are too mainstream for him. You know what he does right after he gets his bonus? He flies over to Japan. A few years ago, he fucked 40 porn stars and prostitutes in one night after receiving his year end compensation. But he celebrates too soon. His penis is then crooked and turns blue.”

Hareta says, “Are you sure? He looks so in love with you.”

Emmy says, “Do you think he will show people his true colors? If he does not act like a good husband, he wouldn’t be able to fool others in getting free sex with him. You know so many innocent little young ladies fall into his traps of luck fucks. Yes, they did get married. But all get infected.”

Hareta says, “So is he gay or not?”

Emmy says, “He gets converted in mid way.”

Hareta says, “Converted?”

Emmy says, “Yes.”

Hareta says, “What do you gain from belittling him?”

Emmy says, “I never try to demean him in any ways. But he is a walking dead already. I am petrified to witness this process. It is even worse than looping an everlasting zombie twilight series.”

Hareta says, “You are his wife!”

Emmy says, “Only on paper.”

Hareta is hesitant in believing what Emmy says. After all, pictures and videos are powerful and speak louder than words.

Hareta excuses herself and goes home. She sends him a few messages to find out what is going on.
