Emmy says, “Just wait till you listen to my stories eradicating cockroaches.”

Ackley says, “Go ahead. I am the strongest of the strong. I am not easily defeated.”

Emmy says, “Bye to bugs and hi to pests. I kill things for a living. It’s official. Pesticides are really just a license to kill but literally.”

Ackley says, “Stupid pest control. You can’t kill me with that.”

Emmy says, “Have you heard about The Great Ratsby Do the Rat Thing Mouse of Cards Pest Control?”

Ackley says, “Haha, you are funny.”

Emmy says, “Wait till I finish the story. See if you can still keep calm and carry on.”

Ackley says, “I am all ears.”

Emmy says, “All these years you have not been listening to me. I tell you what, make the pursuit of happiness your life goal. Stay positive. Enjoy your laughters.“

Ackley says, “I am the most positive person on earth. Don’t ever need to worry about me.” 

Emmy says, “You know what, there are so many pesticides out there. You’d better watch out. One of the most effective ways to eradicate bugs is to poison the cockroaches in those pest motels and turn them into zombie cockroaches.”

Emmy does not have any facial expression when she says this. She looks just like Wednesday Addams. But Ackley seems to be quite intrigued by now.

Emmy continues, “You know, those cockroaches don’t die right away. They remain contagious for some time and finally die in their own homes. Other cockroaches will eat up that dead contagious cockroach out of instinct. Then the entire cockroach family will die one by one, slowly and gradually.”

Ackley says, “What does it have to do with me?”

Emmy says, “You are still alive. It is not so much a miracle. Maybe it is part of God’s plan for your death. Your life is more meaningful than that.” 

Ackley says, “Are you trying to freak me out?”

Emmy says, “Although you are a zombie by now, the fact that you are still alive proves that there is still some value to your existence.”

Ackley says, “What value? Are you using me again?”

Emmy says, “I am just so nice to you. I don’t want you to die right away. You could only wish to leave the world like that. In your dreams, yes maybe. I still need your body and its viruses to infect more people. So you stay positive and keep watching your friends and sexual partners to die one after one from your zombie infections. So effortless.”

Ackley says, “You can say whatever you want. I don’t believe you.”
